People who have their first glance at the Breguet Tradition 7027 asked me, “does it have a tourbillon?” actually, Tradition 7027 just hide the mechanical structures on the plate–fears, barrels, etc–and then display then from the front side to make a part of appreciation. It doesn’t have a tourbillon but Breguet Classique did has a tourbillon, but today we are going to talk about Tradition 7047.
At 7 o’clock, there is a black dial with white Roman number time indexes on it, with the delicate engraving and modern air. Two graceful Breguet skeleton hands indicate the time. In the dial, scales, time indexes and inner dial has triangular sunk patterns on their area. At 4 o’clock, there is a perpetual dynamic system that has severe requirement on precision. It is not only good visually, it is one of the most excellent perpetual dynamic systems. At the 1 o’clock, there is a tourbillon that Mr.Breguet had filed for patent in about two hundred years ago. Breguet, in remaining the original style, tried to mix with modern style by adding latest technology and materials. The big size tourbillon runs, looking magnificent, and it balances the proportion of the dial, to make it visually balanced.
It is fitted with Breguet 569 automatic winding movement. Comparing to the complex design, the dial appears to be more simple. Every small component on Breguet Tradition 7047 is well polished and processed with chamfering. It has the avant-garde design and imaginations as usual. With the modern skills, Breguet Traditon 7047 expressed the purity and simple style in a brand-new way. The case still chooses the typical coin shape, fully reflecting Breguet’s reserve. The lug is a welding lug that has a sense of classical style. Buckle is well polished. On the crown top is branded with a character B that speaks for itself.
